At the foundation of Christianity, John, the fiery son of Zebedee, wrote that the end of our civilization would begin with a war that would consume the entire world. His strange predictions state that Israel would be at the center of that conflict.

From the perspective of history, it seems almost absurd that the tiny nation of Israel, erased from our world for millennia, would return and hold such a place of importance at the end of our civilization. And yet, 2000 years after his bold predictions, we see those bitter prophecies echoing to us from the screens of our televisions. It begs a haunting question.
