With the notable exceptions of Charlie, Ahmed, Mason and Cain, almost every character in these books is based upon real people that I have known. If you are one of my many friends, old or new, you may find someone wonderfully familiar in here.

It is my great hope that you will find these books interesting, informative and inspiring. One day these prophets will walk the earth. Whether the real story is anything like what I have imagined, only time will tell. I do believe, however, that these future heroes will live harrowing and turbulent lives as lightening rods at the center of a great and devastating storm.
